The Bristol Bay Campus, College of Rural and Community Development of the University of Alaska Fairbanks, seeks to provide educational opportunities empowering Alaskans, particularly Alaska Natives and rural residents, to effect social and economic changes as well as to protect and enrich the quality of life and culture.
Bristol Bay Campus instructs a diverse student population through the College of Rural and Community Development (CRCD) distance course offerings. This student population includes degree-seeking, vocational/technical and general education students. Students have the option to participate in courses offered by any of the CRCD campuses through audio conferencing, Blackboard and/or Blackboard Collaborate.
Bristol Bay Campus and campus outreach centers located in King Salmon, New Stuyahok, Togiak and Unalaska/Dutch Harbor develop courses to meet the needs of local industry, organizations and community interest.
