2014 Alaska Federal Lands Access Program RFP

The Alaska Federal Lands Access Program is soliciting proposals for capital improvement construction, enhancement, planning, and alternative transportation projects in FYá2015 through FY 2018.á Project approvals will be contingent upon availability of funds.á Enclosed are the Federal Lands Access Program Project Proposal forms and evaluation criteria. The proposals must be received byáMay 15, 2014.á

To encourage coordination between the project applicants there is aárequired one (1) page notice of intent to be submitted to by March 15, 2014.á This notice of intent will be sent to the appropriate Federal Land Management Agency (FLMA) in order to get the appropriate coordination before the final due date ofáMay 15, 2014.á

FY 2014 Draft TTP Tribal Shares

The Draft TTP Tribal Shares were handed out at the Tribal Transportation Program Coordinated Committee (TTPCC) meeting two weeks ago in Albuquerque, NM. They are for FY2014 and should there be a continueing resolution to the Bill the FY2015-16 are included but do not have recissions or obligation limitations subtracted from the estimates.

Federal Highway Administration MAP-21 Website

On July 6, 2012 President Obama signed the new transportation bill, Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century.á The Federal Highway Administration has created a website to provided related resources as they become available, the site can be accessed at:á http://www.fhwa.dot.gov/MAP21/.á

Federal Transit Administration MAP-21 Website

The Federal Transit Administration has also created a website for information on their implementation of MAP-21, including program information and guidance for grantees. The site can be accessed at: http://www.fta.dot.gov/map21/
