University of Alaska President Jim Johnsen’s Strategic Pathways framework will help guide changes at all UA campuses in the coming years. In addition to offering a more focused group of programs at each university, we will form new partnerships with programs at our sister universities to deliver the best education, research and service possible to Alaska’s residents in the face of a shrinking state budget.
Input from employees, students, alumni and community members will be critical to that process. Please don’t hesitate to visit the UA Strategic Pathways website to share your input with Johnsen and his leadership team.
In addition, we will share UAF-specific information on this website, as we receive it. Please visit the FAQs tab for answers to common questions. If you have more questions, or UAF-specific ideas, please visit the “Ask a question” tab and fill out the form there. We will do our best to get answers posted here.
I hope that you will take every opportunity to weigh in on this important process.
Chancellor Dana Thomas
