Broader Impacts Assistance
The CNSM Office of Education and Public Outreach provides support for the broader impacts component of grant proposals. If you are a UAF researcher, contact us to discuss ways in which your research might be featured in existing outreach programs. Ideas include:
- Leading a module for the Alaska Summer Research Academy (faculty or graduate students often serve as instructors)
- Working with our staff to develop an outreach activity to be used at Community Science Nights in rural Alaska
- Presenting to a public audience during a science café (see the NOVA site for more details on these events)
- Supporting your graduate student in gaining science communication training through our established courses and programs
Please contact us to discuss these or other ideas.
