Who can register online? All students can register online. Degree students must have their registraion signed off by an advisor and then pinned by the registrar. After pinning you may Register for couses through UAOnline
ALEX Math Placement test Starting on March 1, 2014, all new students will need to take the ALEKS math placement test. Don't worry! You take it on your own computer and take as much time as you need. After you take the placement test, you will see what course is recommended for you. The great thing about the ALEKS placement test is that you can improve your score and place into a higher class! After you take the placement test, go into the optional learning mode of ALEKS. The program will give you help on problems and concepts that you need to work on. After three hours in the learning mode you can choose to take the placement test again. You will have up to five attempts. Asset or Accuplacer tests are required before enrolling in english courses.
Please read the course descriptions carefully and make sure your pre requisites are completed before signing up for course.
In some cases faculty can grant special permissions to enter classes with out prerequisites or placement testing.
What's covered: The UA network charge covers rapidly rising costs, especially in the maintenance and enhancement of the university-wide technology infrastructure. The 2 percent network charge is applied on a per credit hour basis (rounded to the nearest dollar) to tuition, non-resident surcharges if applicable, and fees in lieu of tuition for credit and non-credit courses. The minimum network charge per course is $3.
