Homeschool Day

Check back soon for more information about the next Homeschool Day!

Enjoy a day designed for you! Homeschool Day at the museum is held annually in October. Meet other homeschool parents and families, learn about our programs, explore the museum, and enjoy hands-on activities in the Creativity Lab. Check with your homeschool network for information.

Public Programs

Connect with science, culture, history, and art through hands-on activities. Programs include Early Explorers (ages 5 and under), Junior Curators (ages 6-12), Teen Studio (ages 13-18), and Family Days. See the museum's calendar for upcoming opportunities. To learn about our activities, sign up for our monthly museum e-news.

Kits and Hands-on Objects

Take museum objects home to learn from them! Kits are available to homeschool families through their contact teachers. If you are interested in one of our kits, talk to your contact teacher. Loans are for two weeks and are available from August through May. Visit our Kits page for more information.
