UAF Physics Department and Geophysical Institute graduate student Joe Galbraith received a Northrop-Grumman Corporation Industrial Program Award of $5,000 to augment his research in low-frequency acoustics. These funds are to support advanced research in infrasound detection, localization and/or characterization technologies. Northrop-Grumman welcomes the continuation of joint research efforts established in 2005.
