ALASKA INTERNATIONAL

Alexey Chernov

Born in 1982, Alexey Chernov began studying music at the age of 4.

He has won more than 10 first prizes at international competitions, including the 2012 concerto piano competition in Cantu, Italy.

He currently performs in concerts in Russia and Europe, both in solo recitals and with orchestras. He also participates in master classes.

He studied at the Central Special Music School of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, taught by N. Rogal-Levitskaya, Kira Shashkina and Natalia Troull. He graduated from the conservatory in 2008 under Professor Natalia Troull and from the Royal College of Music in London in 2011 under Professor Vanessa Latarche.

Chernov has taught piano at the Central Music School in Moscow since 2006.
