Winter Break Eligibility
To be Eligible for Winter Break Housing you must have a Fall 2017 AND a Spring 2018 Housing Assignment. You must register for Winter Break Housing via the Winter Break Application. All students who do not have a Spring 2018 assignment must check-out of their Fall 2017 assignment and fully move-out by Sunday, December 17, 2017 at 12:00PM (Noon).
Winter Break Cost
The winter break housing is an additional housing charge that will be billed to your student account. If you apply for winter break housing it is a non-refundable housing cost, unless canceled by or before 5PM on November 30, 2017. Only current residents of the Cutler Apartments and the Sustainable Village will be permitted to stay in their room during the break at no additional charge.
The winter break period is an optimal time for University Facilities to inspect and repair areas of our residence halls. As always, the Department of Residence Life will provide as much notice as possible if entrance to residence hall rooms is required.

Campus Closures During Winter Break
Soft closures of many departments through Winter Break
Most offices at UAF will be closed for Winter Break. We want to remind everyone about the limited operations of campus. The UAF Police and Fire Departments will remain open and the Student Recreation Center, and the UA Museum of the North will have limited hours during sections of winter break.
