The objective of the internship program is to provide students with meaningful experience that relates to their academic goals, as well as offering employers a talented pool of highly-trained individuals. Students have the opportunity to receive course credit by enrolling in an internship course: Business Administration (BA 253/BA 453), Accounting (BA 356), or HSEM (BA 452).

The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the accounting department with daily business activities and month end close processes and special projects. This position is under the direct supervision of the Accounting Manager. 


Minimum qualifications:

  • Junior or Senior standing in related finance/accounting degree program
  • Intermediate I & II, AIS, Management Info Systems, Cost Accounting, Audit or Tax courses
  • Understanding of GAAP accounting and knowledge of accounting cycle required
