B.A. in Communication and Cultural Encounters, Roskilde University Denmark, 2011
Nadia is a Teaching Assistant currently teaching COMM141X and a second year coach in the Speaking Center. Nadia’s teaching and coaching experience involves more than 10 years of involvement in various fields covering everything from snowboard instructor to mediation.
Nadia is originally from Denmark but have lived and traveled in virtually most of Europe before she came to UAF to pursue her Masters. Nadia’s focus in her graduate studies is on organizational dissent.

Tianyu is a second year speaking center coach. Skiing, snowboarding, reading and watching movies are her favorite things to do. Tianyu is from China and her research interest is in intercultural communication.

Lora is a first year UAF graduate student who loves Alaska! She also enjoys riding, shooting, knife-throwing, reading, and communication. She has made Alaska her home permanently and plans to live, work, and spend her recreational time right here with all the people she says she has grown to love dearly.
