This noncredit course is taught by award winning photographer Richard Murphy. Explore photographic field techniques in the outdoors where the subjects are nature, landscapes, flora, fauna, and all that makes Alaska the amazing place it is. All levels of skill and camera gear are welcome.

Course Fee: $3,800.00, includes air transportation between Fairbanks and remotes sites, canoes, cooking equipment and food. Course includes canoeing, hiking and camping in one of the wildest and most remote areas of Alaska.

Rafting the Grandeur of the Grand Canyon

April 10-22, 2018

Relish every moment of the 188-mile span of the Grand Canyon from Lees Ferry to Whitmore wash as you float along a the river's pace.  You have 12 days to take in the views, get acquainted with some of the world’s best rapids, hike through slot canyons, and take a dip in waterfalls and pristine swimming destinations. Enjoy the company of your guides as they instruct you in Grand Canyon raft trip safety, history and lore, and cook hearty meals at the end of each day. There is nothing better than spending an evening in the Canyon only to fall asleep on a starlit beach. This is how the Grand Canyon National Park was meant to be seen!
