UAF Green Bikes is a student-funded organization that offers long term bike rentals and mechanical help for cyclists across campus and beyond.
The program’s primary objective is to offer affordable long-term bike rentals to students. In addition to this a number of short-term rentals are also available for a small fee (including Fat Bikes! See below for details). Assistance is provided to all cyclists with repairs on their personal bicycles and workshops are offered on a regular basis.
UAF Green Bikes looks forward to continuing to grow within the community for years to come. To learn more about the program visit the "About Green Bikes" page!

"My brother and I just finished building bikes at the Green Bikes program at UAF. Peter went above and beyond the call of duty in helping us with our bikes, while juggling many other responsibilities and renters completely by himself, and improved our stay in Alaska more than I can say. We are off to Denali and the Brooks Range after that, in no small part due to Peter. The program and he specifically have given me an overwhelmingly good impression of the community at UAF, and I thought you should know that."
