Proposal Summary
Currently there is no laminating capability larger then 12” on campus. The 24" currently is not working. This is a 40” laminator for the purpose of preserving and reusing posters and banners. Lamination is very expensive in town. Library  has agreed to house a laminator and charge a small fee for supplies

Asking for initial roll plastic lamination material in order to test machine ($101).
Describe who will benefit in terms of numbers of students and classes:
Over 10,000 people have access to the library. Allows students, faculty and staff that need posters laminated for conferences and outdoor events.

"Enhance technology, support services and facilities for instruction and learning"
This makes laminating possible for posters with our decreasing budget.

This reduces waste when reprinting posters is considered less expensive then laminating them.
