Employee Tuition Waiver Benefits
Regular employees must have completed the 6 month probationary period for new hires to be eligible for tuition waiver or tuition waiver for spouse or dependent.

UA Health Plan Summaries
Premera BCBS Insurance/ID Cards
After your enrollment waiting period (outlined in the Employee Benefits Handbook), Premera will issue a proof of insurance card to you and your dependents.
If you need to make an appointment before you receive your card(s), simply login to Premera's website and print a temporary card. If you lose your insurance card, you can also login and request to have a new card sent to you at any time. For help on both of these processes, please see our Temporary and Replacement Premera Insurance Cards guide.
If you elect to change your plan at Open Enrollment or at a life event, Premera will automatically issue you a new card; you will not need to request one.
If you have not received your card within 45 days of your enrollment waiting period, or 45 days past the effective date of any benefit plan changes, please contact Premera immediately to insure that they have the correct benefits information for you. You may also check UAOnline to make sure your current benefits are listed correctly. Please notify us right away if this information is outdated or otherwise incorrect after the 45 days.

Summer@UAF - Healthy Living Lectures
The Summer@UAF Healthy Living Lectures series covers a wide range of health related topics from UA insurance and ACA compliance, to retirement questions, to tackling issues such as diabetes and medication dependency.
This lecture series is provided by UAF Summer Sessions and sponsored in conjunction with Fairbanks Memorial Hospital/Denali Center and Cooperative Extension Service.

FY18 Program Deadline Reminder!
April 30th is the deadline by which to have your incentive requirements completed in order to earn your FY19 rebate!
Log-in to your Healthyroads account today to ensure that both progress bars on your ‘Incentives’ and ‘Plan Summary’ pages are at 100%!
Wellness Rebate Change
UA listened to your feedback and has updated how the rebate will be distributed!
Previously this was paid out bi-weekly over the course of the fiscal year. NEW for FY19, the $600 wellness rebate will now be distributed as a lump-sum payment! Employees will receive the earned amount during a pay period in November 2018. This will still include the earned amount for any eligible spouse/FIP.

Change Your HR Address Online!
Starting November 1st, you will be able to update your address used for HR communications by simply updating your mailing address in UAOnline. HR communications include items such as your W2 forms, health benefit information, paychecks, and other important notices.
Previously, employees who changed their mailing address through UAOnline still had to submit a paper request through the HR office to update the address used for HR communications. With this new process, the paper form is no longer needed.

Once you have changed your mailing address in UAOnline, there is a one hour delay before your HR address display is updated. Please take a moment to make sure your mailing address is up to date in UAOnline.

Annual Leave Cash-In Expanded for EX, FR, XR Employees
The Annual Leave Cash-In program has been revised! This program allows eligible employees to cash-in up to 40 hours of their annual leave one time per fiscal year at any time during the fiscal year (except the pay period that includes June 30).
