URSA Awards

Apply now! URSA Student Travel funding opportunity now open.

UAF undergraduate students are invited to apply for one of several URSA travel awards of up to $2,000 to present or support their research or creative projects. This is the second round of URSA funding opportunity for student travel this academic year. Travel must be encumbered by June 12, 2015 and begun by June 30, 2015. The application deadline is January 23, 2015.

Students are eligible to receive multiple URSA awards while at UAF.

Undergraduate student travel awards and project awards are offered both fall and spring semesters; summer project awards are offered each summer. Mentoring awards are offered each fall semester; mentors include faculty, post-docs and graduate students.
