Fine Art Master’s Degree Requirements
Fine art master’s courses at the University of Alaska Fairbanks include a range of topics depending on your specialization area. You can take courses dedicated to exploring cultural and social themes in art — such as contemporary art world issues, the historic role of the artist, and art of the circumpolar north. Whichever concentration you choose, you’ll focus two-thirds of your courses in studio art. After completing your art master’s degree courses, your studies will culminate in a solo gallery exhibition to share your work and make professional connections.
