Hi there, my name is Rodolfo - it sounds like Rudolph the Reindeer, but with an ‘O’ at the end.

I am studying Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics here at UAF. I want to research the processes behind aging when I am done with my undergraduate career. In the meantime, I am enjoying taking courses about content that I like learning about. I came to UAF from Los Angeles in the fall of 2016 and have been rooted here ever since. My favorite on-campus activities include talking to professors, sitting in classes or sitting on the patio outside of Arctic Java and sipping white hot chocolates and London Fogs while staring out into the snow.

I’ve met so many amazing people while here at UAF, each year brings a new assortment of experiences with new people and it is refreshing. I look forward to New Student Orientation every year. It's such a fun and wonderful time to see so many people acquainting themselves with one another. If you have any questions about campus or any ideas for how we can all make our campus a better place, please don’t hesitate to approach me if you see me out and about! I love making new friends!
