ASUAF Programs and Services

ASUAF provides a number of programs and services for UAF students. Click below to learn more about these programs and services.

Funding for recognized student organizations is available on a semester-by-semester basis. ASUAF's Club Council manages the process for awarding club funding.
ASUAF provides funding for UAF students for travel for academic purposes such as research, fieldwork and academic conferences. This funding can be used for the costs of transportation and lodging only.

The Senate Finance committee manages the process for student travel funding.

For Spring 2022 there is a $10,000 budget dedicated to funding student travel. To learn more and apply click here.
ASUAF has a Student Advocacy Director dedicated to assisting students with university related problems. They are able to advocate for student's issues including but not limited to grade disputes, grievances, and providing forms for free legal advice.

ASUAF has partnered with a local legal firm to provide free 30-minute consultations for UAF students. The firm has a broad range of legal expertise and can assist students with most legal concerns.
