On June 7, CAPS joined the US Association of Polar Early Career Scientists  (USAPECS) to offer a webinar on writing policy briefs. The webinar, given by Program Coordinator Kelsey Aho, is part of USAPECS  2019 summer series Polar Science 101, which focuses on short introductions to various polar topics. Aho covered key points about why researchers should consider writing policy briefs, how to identify an audience, what elements to include in a policy brief, and how to get your brief into the hands of those who can use it.

The full recording can be viewed on the USAPECS Polar Science 101 page and a complementary handout on writing policy briefs can be downloaded from the CAPS website here.
