Innovative technique to drive heavy oil to the surface

A study led by Abhijit Dandekar, Petroleum Engineering, on the succesful use of polymers as an oil recovery technique has been recently featured in the Journal of Commerce and ADN. The innovative yet rarely used method has the potential to improve the recovery of heavy oil across the North Slope.
