Civil Engineering
Why study Civil Engineering at UAF?

"I've always been fascinated by transportation systems and how engineering connects people and communities. At UAF, I've had the opportunity to conduct research in the ACAM Lab, intern with the Alaska DOT&PF, and study abroad in the Netherlands. Every experience has helped me grow as an engineer while reinforcing why I want to design infrastructure that serves the people and places I care about most. UAF has given me the hands-on experience, mentorship, and confidence to turn that goal into a career."
