Distinctions

Small pine with a formal pyramidal habit; an elegant ornamental; very hardy; needles in clusters of 5, 2.5"-3.25" long, green on one side and bluish on the other, held in a bottle-brush arrangement.

Limitations

Slow growth in shade; needs full sun and well-drained soil. Grows in Fairbanks in only the warmest locations.
