I've got more than 30 years' experience working with oceanographic data. I've collected data at sea, processed sensor data, mapped assets, and utilized numerical models. More recently, I've become interested in open-source Python tools and the principles of data management. I'm currently affiliated with the Northern Gulf of Alaska Long Term Ecological Research (NGA LTER) project, but if there is physical oceanographic data from Alaskan waters that needs processing, I'm there.
