Building on a diverse engineering background, Kevin first joined CFOS in 2014 as an operating engineer for the maiden science and ice trials of R/V Sikuliaq. Sailing aboard regularly for nearly a decade, he devoted his knowledge and passion to serving its unique seagoing mission. Appointed as Port Engineer for Seward Marine Center in 2024, he now brings that considerable experience to bear from shore, providing direct support for R/V Sikuliaq and promoting the expansion of engineering capabilities at SMC.
