Faculty should RSVP, rent regalia for commencement before April 3
Commencement 2017 takes place Saturday, May 6, 2017 and this year there will not be a rehearsal.
Participating faculty should act now to inform coordinators they plan to attend and to ensure their rented regalia is here in time for the ceremony.

Faculty can RSVP online here. Participating faculty should arrive at the Carlson Center by 12:45 p.m. on May 6 for line-up and go to the Arthur Buswell Pioneer Room, also known as the robing room.

Commencement regalia can be rented from the UAF Bookstore. The deadline for renting regalia from the bookstore's online service is April 3.
|
All faculty orders placed by April 3 will be shipped as a group to the UAF Bookstore with the faculty member's name on each individual order. Regalia rentals can be picked up and paid for at the UAF Bookstore. All rental regalia should be returned to the Bookstore within 10 days after commencement.

Reminder: Submit publications for 2017 Authors Reception

The 2017 Authors Reception, hosted by Chancellor Dana Thomas, will be held from 4-5:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, at the Rasmuson Library on Level 6.
|
As in past years, we ask that UAF authors send us a physical copy or URL of their publications by April 1, using the following criteria:
|
- Books and e-books they have authored or co-authored.
- Peer-reviewed articles they have authored or co-authored. (Please provide a permalink where possible.)
We invite authors to join colleagues at this event, which celebrates the many accomplishments of our faculty.
