Offer feedback on field firearms and alcohol policies
In preparation for the summer field research season, UAF is in the process of creating two clarifying policies that will affect teaching and research activities taking place beyond UAF’s campuses.
UAF Policy 02.09.020 Field Firearms Policy was distributed to vice chancellors for dissemination May 1, 2018. This policy provides guidance on the proper use of firearms in remote field camps and research settings. Feedback on the new policy can be given through Friday, May 25.
