Pre-Thanksgiving nonteaching day

There will be no classes Wednesday, Nov. 21, the day before Thanksgiving. Although Nov. 21 is not a paid holiday, units may treat it as a soft closure day with the approval of their vice chancellor or the provost.

'An Evening of Ave Marias'

UAF voice students will perform "An Evening of Ave Marias" Nov. 10 at 7:30 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, accompanied by pianist Lorna Eder.

The Wind Symphony will present a free concert at 4 p.m. to honor veterans. The program features march music from the Revolutionary War to the present day. Read more
