Dear UAF community,

Earlier today you received a communication from President Johnsen informing you of a systemwide redesign of human resources. The new statewide structure creates a centralized human resources office that will be organized into five functional areas: talent acquisition, employee transitions and benefits, labor and employee engagement, organizational development, and operations. If you have questions or comments about the redesign, they can be submitted to the president at taking comments here. Additional information can be found here.

I ask for your patience and support as we work through this transition. Not only are our HR employees going through this change, these same employees are tasked with supporting the rest of campus through the reorganization. Our HR staff provide tremendous leadership, service and support to UAF and will be critical to the success of the newly defined structure.

Sincerely,
Dan White, chancellor
