Dear UAF faculty and staff,

Title IX training is at hand, and I want to take this opportunity to remind everyone of its importance. The training is more than an exercise. It is part and parcel to creating a culture of respect, diversity, inclusion and caring. Please put your Title IX training to work in your everyday activities.

This year’s completion deadline has been extended to Saturday, Oct. 31. The deadline was extended because of a few hiccups in the software that UA HR has worked to resolve. Thank you to those who jumped on the training early and identified the improvements needed.

Training information and technical support is available under “UA Safe and Title IX training.” While you’re there, I encourage you to review the many other training options and information available that can help us build a resilient Nanook Nation. You are vital to that effort.

Thank you for choosing UAF.
