The SRDD Committee has done an outstanding job of moving what has always been an in-person celebration to one that honors and celebrates our staff online. I encourage you to join your colleagues to recognize their years of service to the university, and to honor Jane Groseclose, this year’s recipient of the Chancellor’s Cornerstone Award.
In the afternoon, I hope you take advantage of some of the personal and professional development opportunities. To supervisors, I ask that you allow staff members to participate, or, if they cannot, that you please make time to recognize their hard work in another way.

We all know the challenging and sometimes difficult work that we are undertaking. We cannot do this without the dedication and skill of our staff. I look forward to joining you tomorrow to celebrate them for the work they do every day.
