The deadlines are tight for the May 1 commencement ceremony, so please be sure to share this information with your graduates.

Graduate info

Monday, April 5 — Deadline for graduates to sign up for the drive-in celebration and graduate car parade. Graduates must be signed up and have a ticket to enter. Graduates should have received an email from MarchingOrder prompting them to RSVP and record their name to help ensure the announcer pronounces it correctly. They can also let us know they are planning to participate in the virtual ceremony when they log in there.

Thursday, April 15 — Deadline for graduates to customize their slide by submitting a photo, short video and personal message via the StageClip platform. They will receive the email prompt from StageClip events. Examples are included on the commencement website at www.uaf.edu/commence/.

Any student who did not receive the emails should contact uaf-commencement-team@alaska.edu.

Caps and gowns
Graduates are welcome to wear their caps and gowns, but they are not required to. It may take up to four weeks to receive regalia orders. The UAF Bookstore may have some limited stock and can be contacted at 1191mgr@follett.com.
