The UAA and UAF departments of music will collaborate on a live-streamed performance
on March 19 at 7:30 p.m. "Unity, Diversity & Harmony: A Performance of Music Theater
Excerpts," is a collaboration between the UAA and UAF opera workshop ensembles.

Deadlines and reminders
Jessica Black, a faculty member in UAF's department of Alaska Native studies and rural development, has been reelected to a three-year term on the Fairbanks Native Association board.
Black has been on the FNA board for six years and currently serves as president.
The next IAB Life Sciences seminar will feature Eva Stephani of the Alaska Science
Center, U.S. Geological Survey, presenting "Understanding Permafrost Dynamics and
Geohazards with a Terrain-Cryofacies Approach -- Examples from Northern Alaska and
Northwestern Canada." The presentation starts at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 18, via Zoom.
Yelena Mazour-Matusevich will lead a teaching presentation and Q&A at noon Friday,
March 18, via Zoom.
