UAF Chancellor Dan White will host an online strategic enrollment forum at 1 p.m., Thursday, March 31. Panelists will share progress on UAF's strategic enrollment efforts and projects in areas such as financial aid, recruitment, student programming and advising.

The College of Liberal Arts Theatre and Film Department will present "Seminar," a comedy by Theresa Rebeck and directed by Tom Robenolt, in the Lee H. Salisbury Lab Theatre from March 25-April 10.


Festival of Native Arts to take place virtually March 25-26

The 49th annual Festival of Native Arts will be held Friday and Saturday, March 25-26, 2022. This year’s theme is “Culture, Land and Future.” All events are virtual and will be hosted via Zoom and Facebook live.

Deadlines and reminders


Deadline for Research and Creative Activity Days submissions extended to March 27

The 2022 edition of URSA's Research and Creative Activity Days will be online from April 5-7. Undergraduates from all disciplines that wish to share their research and creative projects with the UAF community are invited.


Poker Flat rocket launch to study energy movement during aurora

Two sounding rockets are scheduled to launch from Poker Flat Research Range just minutes apart in an experiment aimed at learning how energy is transferred and dissipated during auroral displays. The findings could increase the understanding of factors affecting satellites in low Earth orbit.


Purchase regalia and invitations by March 24

Caps, gowns and other regalia must be purchased by March 24 to receive them in time for commencement. The student graduation fee does not cover these items.
