Interior Alaska now has its first business accelerator, a program to help jump-start
new businesses through mentorship, networking, education and access to capital.
A long-awaited refresh of Schaible Auditorium has begun and construction will extend
through the summer. The work includes new finishes, lighting and ventilation.
The new Geoscience seminar will feature Diane Skipton, who works with Canada's Yukon
Geology Service, on March 25. She will present "Investigating the Cretaceous Robert
Service thrust system in the Selwyn fold belt, central Yukon."
