Dulian among 2022 Top Forty under 40 selections

UAF Development Director Morgan Dulian has been recognized among the 2022 Top Forty Under 40. The annual list, which is compiled by the Alaska Journal of Commerce and Anchorage Daily News, recognizes a group of outstanding young professionals in Alaska.


Political science careers workshop: Shannon Cazeau

The UAF Department of Political Science is hosting an event with Shannon Cazeau, the current director of information and analysis for Africa in the U.S. Department of State's Bureau for Intelligence and Research, and a former UAF political science graduate. The event will be on Wednesday, March 30, at 1 p.m.

The University of Alaska Fairbanks will host a series of free courses focused on tribal governance and stewardship.


Fogel well-being discussion available at The Well

A discussion with Marilyn Fogel, an eminent biogeochemist and member of the National Academy of Sciences, is available at The Well website. Fogel, an emeritus professor at UC Riverside, discussed living with ALS, life's challenges, work-life balance, and being a woman in science and advocacy.


Sliger hired as new UAF Bookstore manager

Gina Sliger has been hired as the new store manager at the UAF Bookstore. Sliger plans to work to create supportive relationships across campus and continue to make improvements to ensure customer service is prioritized.
