Jeannie Phillips, executive assistant to the chancellor, has announced she will retire
in June 2022. Phillips' 40 years at the university have been spent in a variety of
positions, including three key administrative roles with university leaders.
The College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences will hold its next weekly seminar on Wednesday,
March 30, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. via Zoom. The talk will be offered by Jennifer Bigman,
a postdoctoral researcher at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
The University of Alaska Museum of the North has moved to its spring schedule. The
museum is now open 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday.
