Students aid Bristol Bay communities in coastal erosion research

University of Alaska Fairbanks students will return to several Bristol Bay communities this year to continue quantifying and mapping widespread coastal erosion.


EPSCoR to present careers and resume workshop

The Alaska NSF EPSCoR program will host an online presentation on “Research careers outside academia and resume writing.” The event will take place via Zoom Thursday, April 7 from 1-2:15 p.m. and requires preregistration.

In general, UAF faculty and staff are allowed to do anything for a student-athlete that you would do for any other student. However, there are some restrictions on "extra benefits" provided to student-athletes such as meals, housing and transportation outside of what is provided by the athletics department.
