Dieringer retiring as UAF financial aid manager

Deanna Dieringer, director of the financial aid office, is retiring at the end of May after more than 33 years at UAF. A farewell reception will be held in her honor next month at the Wood Center.

UAF to host author, activist Chanel Miller

New York Times bestselling author Chanel Miller will discuss her memoir, "Know My Name," on Wednesday, April 13, at 7 p.m. in Davis Concert Hall at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.


Workshop: 'Using the arts to flip understanding'

The Alliance for Arts in Research Universities will present a free workshop on Tuesday, April 12, from 9-11 a.m. This immersive workshop will include artistic exploration, guided critical reflection and one-on-one discussion with peers.
