A $1 million donation from Kinross will bring the Troth Yeddha' Indigenous Studies
Center one step closer to reality. The gift, announced Tuesday evening, will fund
schematic design and bid specifications for the 34,000-square-foot facility at the
University of Alaska Fairbanks.
The Nanook Navigator and Student Success spotlight for April is Abel Bult-Ito. Bult-Ito
is a professor of neurobiology and neurophysiology in the Department of Biology and
Wildlife.
Elisabeth Nadin, associate professor of geology at UAF, will present "Paleozoic evolution
of the Sierra Nevada batholith, and the strength of a warm transpressive fault. The
presentation starts on Friday, April 15 at 11:45 am via Zoom.
