Since the closing of the 32nd legislature I have been asked by a growing number of
people what the next steps are in the budget, what the budget means to us, and what
we should make of the lack of agreement between UNAC and UA negotiating teams.
Dig in for UAF Flower Planting Day, June 8 from 9 a.m. - noon. Volunteers who sign up in advance and check in, will be entered into a drawing to win one of two hanging
flower baskets. Garden trowels, plastic gloves and refreshments will be provided.
Employees and departments can also sign up to adopt a flower bed, planter or basket for the summer. This involves planting the
spaces and ensuring it is free of weeds. Your help allows the UAF grounds crew to
focus on other areas of campus.
UAF employees and students have another chance to nominate outstanding staff members
for the 2022 Staff Make Students Count Award. The nomination period was extended through
June 10, 2022.
