Friday Focus: Understanding privilege

UAF leadership has nearly completed a 6-segment training on diversity, equity and inclusion, specifically focused on racism. In last month's training we discussed privilege. The training was mainly on what privilege means, how we understand it in our university context, and how we take action to create equity.

Field Safety Emergency Plan for UAF travelers

UAF is working to improve its Field Safety Emergency Plans (FSEP) for those traveling to field locations within the United States and abroad. The FSEP is intended to provide UAF travelers with a sound action plan to cope with emergencies that may be encountered during official travel. Please review the improved field safety document and provide feedback by July 5, 2022. We want to ensure we have asked the right questions to capture critical information.
