During a good year in Bristol Bay, a surge of over 100 million pounds of salmon fights its way upstream, spawns, and dies. In Bristol Bay and elsewhere in Alaska, this incredible pulse of salmon carcasses enriches streams and rivers and makes young salmon hardier.

Tilbury appointed as Associate Vice Provost of Student Success

Jennifer Tilbury has been appointed as Associate Vice Provost for Student Success, effective July 1, 2022. In her new role, she will work to develop and direct short and long range initiatives related to student success and retention, as well as lead efforts to launch the UAF Student Success Center that will be located in a renovated space on the sixth floor of the Rasmuson Library.
