The University of Alaska Fairbanks will name its engineering building for UAF alumnus,
philanthropist and miner Joseph E. Usibelli during a naming ceremony Thursday, Aug. 4, 2022, at 4 p.m. in Cornerstone Plaza outside the
building.

Deadlines and reminders
The College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences at the University of Alaska Fairbanks
is offering a new option within its undergraduate degree program that lets students
study remotely and on a flexible schedule.
The UAF Recycling team normally collects paper, plastic, aluminum and cardboard. Due
to a temporary closure of the borough's Central Recycling Facility, the team will
begin picking up these materials up again when the CRF has re-opened.
