September museum programs explore water

The University of Alaska Museum of the North is focusing on the theme of water during family programs in September. Early Explorers is scheduled for 10 a.m.-noon on Friday, Sept. 16. Junior Curators will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17. Family Day: Water is scheduled for 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 24. There is no admission fee for children 14 and younger at Family Days, thanks to support from TOTE Maritime Alaska. These programs are included with admission and are free for members.
