The University of Alaska Foundation Board of Directors is accepting nominations for
the 2023 Edith R. Bullock Prize for Excellence. The prize, which includes a $20,000
award, is presented to an individual who demonstrates excellence in support of the
University of Alaska. Any UA student, faculty, staff, alumni or volunteer who has
made a significant contribution to the mission of the University of Alaska system,
UAA, UAF, or UAS is eligible to be nominated.
Summer Sessions & Lifelong Learning is offering several non-credit short courses for
UAF students and community members ages 18 and up in January 2023. Registration is

The Office of Undergraduate Research and Scholarly Activity congratulates undergraduate
student Aihs Palmer, psychology major, who received this year's Community Engaged
Learning Award. Aihs' project titled "Micro-pantries to Mitigate Inaccessibility to
Anti-Hunger Resources," will collaborate with Fairbanks organizations to address barriers
to local food security resources.
