Last Saturday evening, a number of UAF faculty, staff and students attended the First
Alaskans Institute Annual Howard Rock and Ted Stevens Smokehouse Gala. FAI is a non-profit
organization committed to advancing Alaska Natives through community engagement, information
and research, collaboration, and leadership development. UAF has partnered with FAI
in numerous ways. Hopefully you have heard me talk about the dialogue agreements that
help to guide the ways that we agree to engage with one another. I am thankful for
the dialogue agreements that we borrow from FAI.
