Margaret Rudolf is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Alaska Fairbanks who works
to improve partnerships between scientists, communities and decision-makers as they
respond to climate change in Alaska. She uses a process known as coproduction of knowledge
that integrates different knowledge systems and methods to understand the world around
us.
The University of Alaska Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service will offer a certified
food protection manager training on Feb. 21, 2023. Participants must register by Feb. 6 in order to receive the study guide on time. Registration and additional info is available online. Accommodation requests related to a disability should be made seven business days
in advance to the course instructor, Julie Cascio.
Alaska INBRE Program offers two summer research assistantship opportunities for students
interested in research. Applications must be submitted by Feb. 3, 2023.
