Student Health and Counseling is continuing to offer Mental Health First Aid training
to the UA community throughout the Spring 2023 semester. Mental Health First Aid is
a public education program that teaches participants how to identify, understand and
respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges.
Responsible Conduct of Research training will be offered Wednesday, Jan. 25, from 2-5 p.m. via Zoom. The training is brought to you by the Office of Research Integrity. This particular
workshop fulfills the National Science Foundation and National Institutes of Health
requirements for formal RCR instruction. This is the only formal RCR training at UAF
this semester.

Deadlines and reminders
Tuition waivers for employees, faculty, adjuncts, spouses and dependents are due each
semester by the fee payment deadline, which is Friday, Jan. 27. Please remember tuition waivers cover tuition only and the student is responsible
for paying all other fees by the payment deadline.
