Scientists assess future landslide risk in Alaska’s national parks

The Pretty Rocks landslide, spurred by greater warmth and rainfall, will force Denali National Park's main access road to close at the halfway point in 2023 for the second full summer. To help park managers plan for and mitigate such events, University of Alaska Fairbanks scientists assessed future landslide risks along road corridors in Denali and other Alaska parks.


Understanding Credit

This Zoom workshop on Tuesday, March 21 from 3-4 p.m. is for learning about credit. Students can learn what credit is, how to improve their credit score, and how credit can be used to reach financial goals. UAF Financial Aid is presenting the workshop with Sallie Mae.


Women and Weaving

Celebrate women's history month by participating in a Ruth Bader Ginsburg Quiz, the Historic Women heads-up game, and learning how to crochet. Refreshments will be served, crochet needles and yarn is on us, and there will be prizes for game winners. Join us March 20 from 4-6 p.m. at Arctic Java!
